Business Coordination

The primary responsibility of each business coordinator is to set appointments with qualified decision makers for field sales personnel.

Field Sales

The primary responsibility of the sales department is to sell and obtain a signed authorization for an analytical consultation to start on a specific date. The personnel have the following responsibilities:

  1. Director of Sales: responsible for the overall direction of the department.

  2. Region Manager: responsible for recruiting, training, and development of marketing strategies in several states.

  3. Zone Manager: responsible for day-to-day management and on-going development of the sales skill levels of personnel in multiple marketing areas, which include both rural and metropolitan areas.

  4. District Manager: responsible for developing clients within an assigned marketing area. Even though all personnel in the sales department are responsible for obtaining sales, the District Manager is viewed as the lifeblood of the sales department. This sales professional not only lives in his marketing area, but he also usually takes an active role in his community. It is through his or her efforts that most of the sales for the company are obtained. How a prospect views the Company is usually determined by the District Manager -- conducting interviews with qualified prospects, giving presentations to business groups, and participating in various business functions within the community.

Analytical Consulting

We begin our relationship with a client by conducting an analysis of his business. An experienced business analyst, chosen for his ability to go into any phase of the client’s operation, conducts the analysis. The client may choose to have the analyst conduct a comprehensive analysis of his total business or limit the focus to a specific phase or problem area in his operation.

 

The analyst will be supported in most phases of the analysis with the use of a diagnostic computer and proprietary business analysis program. The diagnostic computer assists in evaluating:

  • Operating conditions

  • Financial, operating, inventory, cost ratios and trends

  • Break even analysis

  • Optimal operating objectives

  • Employee ratings of the organization

  • Overall appraisal of all elements of the business

  • Management efficiency and effectiveness

Problems encountered in this initial consultation are discussed freely with the client. After the investigation has been completed, a program designed to solve the problems is discussed with the client. When the client decides to proceed, the material developed during the course of the analysis, research data and instructions are submitted to the Management Consulting Services Department for implementation.
